Before priming or painting  fit the fender body  braces and mounting points in place. Fender rivets  hinge and brackets will have to be tweaked for final fitment. Patience is required for proper installation! The tail lamp mounting holes are 2-1\/2 inch apart. The holes  with indents are 6 inch apart  sitting 1 inch below the mounting holes and 1-3\/4 inch outside of tail lamp holes. Factory sample is a brand new pre-production parts but may have imperfections on the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects  such as cracks or holes  there will be cosmetic imperfections only.
